Paul Leichty
Co-Founder The ADNet board of directors has accepted the resignation of Paul Leichty with appreciation for his leadership role and work as advocate for persons and families who are coping with disabilities. As co-founder of ADNet in 2002 and later as executive director, Paul had a vision to develop a nationwide network of advocacy, support, and resources for individuals and families living with disabilities, including mental health. His vision included a church constituency, which would become more inclusive and responsive in bringing care, healing, and hope to persons with disabilities. In ADNet's first eight years, Paul developed and expanded its agenda to include the Congregational Accessibility Network (CAN), print resources such as the Connections and ADNotes newsletters, online information, workshops and seminars, and other resources which are available to churches, families, and individuals who are facing the challenges of living with disability. The board declares its commitment to fulfilling the mission of ADNet and to ensuring that the vision of its founders becomes a reality. With gratitude, we offer our best wishes to Paul and his wife Twila as they seek God's leading for the future. In appreciation, ADNet Board Members H. James Smith, President, Goshen, IN |
