There are a variety of retreats.  Some are families that have a member with disabilities and consciously work to include all members of the family, including persons with special needs.  Other retreats focus on mental illness and are specifically intended to give support to either mental health consumers or family members.

July 8-12 Disabilities/Family Trip
Wilderness Wind in Ely, Minnesota is offering a canoe trip for persons with disabilities or the option to stay in one of the Lakeside cabins.  They may be accompanied by one of their family members or friends. Wilderness Wind has collaborated with residents of MDC Goldenrod for more than 15 years and has experience working with a range of disabilities. Retreat for Families, Friends and Persons with Disabilities

This long-standing Laurelville program provides a safe, relaxing environment to share the joys and challenges of having family members with disabilities. Campers and families experience meaningful inclusive worship and special activities geared to campers, siblings and adults.
