Christine was selected for the 2009 "Excellence in Family Support" award by the Autism Society of Indiana. The award recognizes Christine’s leadership of the Asperger/Autism Parent Group of Goshen, an Elkhart County (Indiana) support group for parents of children and youth with high functioning autism and related conditions. Since 2006 she has shared management of the group with Kaylene Ediger.
