Learning Disabilities
Learning Disabilities can show up in any educational setting. Christian education is no exception. Parents and Sunday School teachers should watch for these signs of possible learning disabilities.
Children with Learning Disabilities
A poll in 2000 which measured parental understanding of learning disabilities found that 44% of parents waited over a year after noticing their children struggling, before getting help. While the presence of one of the above noted characteristics does not definitively mean an individual has a learning disability, these signs in your child may prompt you to do some research to learn more. Below are some handy resources especially for persons in the church who work with persons in Christian education settings.
