The ADNet Advisory Committee was formed in September 2006.  The original purpose of the Advisory Committee was to give counsel to the Board in making policy, finding financial resources, and developing into a competent board with a viable national agenda.

In late 2009 / early 2010, the Advisory Committee was re-constituted with a new and higher priority purpose to give counsel to the ADNet Staff on larger programming issues as they relate to ADNet's various constituencies. 

In order to gain a wide participation, this re-constituted Advisory Committee has a more informal membership at several levels:

• A Local Advisory Committee which meets once or twice a year in Northern Indiana. 
• A Mennonite-related Advisory Committee (U.S. and Canadian Mennonites) which gives feedback via email and perhaps with an occasional telephone conference call.
• A wider group of friends, not necessarily connected with Mennonites who give counsel from the perspective of their discipline and/or religious affiliation.
