  • National Catholic Partnership on Disability-- established in 1982 to implement in parishes and dioceses throughout the United States the 1978 Pastoral Statement of U.S. Catholic Bishops on Persons with Disabilities.
  • The National Apostolate for Inclusion Ministry (NAfIM).  NAfIM is a non-profit membership organization of persons with and without disabilities working and praying together to realize justice for persons of all abilities in the parish and in religious, social and civic life.
Christian Reformed Church Disabilities Concerns
The CRC provides resources for worship, accessibility and awareness, and for caring ministries.  They publish a regular newsletter and work closely with other Reformed denominations.  Their Handbook for Disability Advocates is chock full of ideas, tips and resources.

  • Mental Health Ministries. A Ministry of the California-Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, this website is dedicated to educating church leaders for the purpose of decreasing the stigma associated with mental illnesses in faith communities. Their primary method of working is to provide resources to faith communities to develop a mental health program appropriate to each congregation. The ultimate goal is the inclusion and support of persons with mental illnesses and their families into the life of that community.
