Rebecca Fast served as an ADNet Associate for learning disabilities from August 2007 through May 2008, developing materials for ADNet's newsletters and website. 

Originally from Ontario, Rebecca distinguished herself by facing the challenge of her own learning disabilities and becoming an award winning speaker.  Her speech, entitled “Misunderstood Minds: Wasted Human Potential” was the winning entry in the 2006 C. Henry Smith Oratorical Contest.  Since that time she has used that speech as the basis for motivational speaking assignments in a number of different contexts, including churches.

Fast has also served as a learning disabilities consultant in Canada, the U.S., and Europe.  During the 2007-08 school year, she will devote time to developing resources on learning disabilities and the church while she finishes her senior year at Goshen College.
